Speak Kindly, Using Soft Words and Tones

Watch Video

Our Parshat begins with The Word וַיִּקְרָא Vah Yee Kih Raw meaning 'And He Called,' is The First Word of Leviticus which informs us that HaShem Called to Moses. We are also informed how Our Creator Spoke with Moses, His language, volume, tone etc.

וַיִּקְרָא
Vah Yee Kih Raw / And He Called
ו6 10 ק100 ר200 א1 = 317

וְאִישׁ
Vih eesh / And Husband - And Man
ו6 א1 י10 ש300 = 317

וְהָאִשָּׁה
Vih Haw Ee Shah / And The Wife - And The Woman
ו6 ה5 א1 י10 ש300 = 317

הַיֹּשֵׁב
Hah Yoh Shayv The One Who Dwells
ה5 ט10 ש300 ב2 = 317

הָשִׁיב
Haw Sheev / The One Who Returns
The One who is Restored
The One who Retrieves
The One Who Turn Away from sin
ה5 ש300 י10 ב2 = 317

Each of these Gematrias are related. A Husband and Wife should speak with honor, respect, value, dignity, and splendor to each other. We each should speak on high levels towards others. The place of our dwelling should be filled with the atmosphere of honor, respect, value dignity, and splendor. These are the goals each of us should aim for. We should turn away sin but if we sin, acknowledge our short comings and return to the righteous path espoused in Ha Torah.
The center Three Letters of וַיִּקְרָא Vah Yee Kih Raw are יָקָר Yaw Kawr meaning To be precious, rare, scarce. The same Three Letters also mean יְקָר Yih Kawr meaning honor, respect, value dignity, splendor, precious. The Gematria is 310.

יָקָר
Yaw Kawr / To be precious, rare, scarce.
יְקָר
Yih Kawr / Honor, respect, value dignity, splendor, precious.
י10 ק100 ר200 = 310

The Three Letters are the center Letters of HaShem Calling out to Moses. Mystically we see the center of HaShem's Call to Moses is one of honor, respect, value, dignity, and splendor. Can anyone imagine The Creator and Ruler of all speaking in such a precious fashion to a mortal man even if that man was Moses? Within The Letters of Vah Yee Kih Raw there is a Mystical gem, speak to others like HaShem Spoke to Moses. Notice that Each Letter increases moving to the right.

The Gematria of צָעֹק Tzah Ohk meaning to cry out for help, to sob for help. This is when one explodes with uncontrolled sobbing. This is exceeding great and bitter sobbing. When we observe many cries and many bitter sobs, The Letters י Yud and ם Final Mem are added. The Word צָעֹק Tzah Ohk becomes צֹעֲקִים. When Cain murdered his brother Able HaShem Confronted Cain Saying, 'What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood צֹעֲקִים cries to me from the ground.'

צֹעֲקִים
Tzah Ohk / To cry out for help, to sob for help
צ90 ע70 ק100 י10 ם40 = 310

It is necessary for us to face the opposites of יְקָר Yih Kawr - Honor, Respect, Value Dignity, Splendor and being treated Precious from צֹעֲקִים Ztoh Ah Keem - many bitter sobbing cries exploding from improper horrible treatment. How we communicate with others is very, very important! It is easy to fail in our communication to others. I failed in this area many times. I am ashamed!! Yet, I am trying to succeed in every communication. James, a Christian author wrote, When a person never fails in how they communicate he/ she is a perfect person. Ha Torah Teaches us that it is a sin to cause pain with Words. Ha Torah Teaches us that it is a sin to speak evil of others. Moses sinned. Jesus sinned.

Each of us must resist with all all our strength to avoid horrible demeaning communication. It is wrong! Our Creator Teaches us to be kind and loving in all our communication. Still, when we fail we MUST NOT allow our failures to defeat our overall goal to succeed. Remember, 'The steps of A Righteous Individual are ordered by The Lord; and He Delights in his way. Though [the Righteous Individual] falls, he / she shall not be utterly cast down; for The Lord Supports his / her hand.'

My Our Creator Bless each who study, learn and Observe Ha Torah.
